Affiliate & partner disclosure

Last updated: 21 April 2026

Transparency matters to us, so here's the plain-English version of how we handle affiliate and partner links on this site.

What affiliate links are

Some links on this website — and inside our blog articles — are affiliate or partner links. When you click one and subsequently sign up for or purchase the linked product, Tao Web Services may receive a small commission or referral credit at no additional cost to you. The price you pay is the same as if you visited the service directly.

How we decide what to link

We only recommend tools and services we genuinely use, have used in client projects, or would recommend to a friend running a business. A partner commission does not change our editorial opinion. If a tool isn't right for your situation, we'll say so — regardless of whether we earn anything from the click.

Affiliate links are clearly marked in the relevant context (e.g., "Bukku affiliate link" or with the sponsored link attribute), and we aim to disclose them at the point of recommendation, not bury this page and hope nobody reads it.

Current partners

This list will grow over time as we add partnerships with tools we actually use. We'll update this page each time a new partnership is added.

Questions

If you have any questions about our affiliate practices, drop us a line at kaitao.cheng@taowebsystems.com. We'd rather have an awkward conversation than an untransparent one.
